Alpine Food and The Meal Plan

Eating is truly one of the best pleasures whilst vacationing, especially if that country is known for particular dishes.

This is why we developed our "Meal Plan."

What is the Meal Plan?

The Meal Plan would typically be a part of YOUR food budget that you would spend on your own for meals whist on your 13 day tour. This is outside of any of your already provided 18 meals, snacks and tastings through your land package. Our Meal Plan for Austria, Germany and Switzerland is $330 USD or €300 euro on arrival to Vienna.

We take this budget per person and plan and organize many opportunities for amazing food. The meals will include group dinners, homemade lunches, tastings, and daily snacks while traveling. Some of these meals will also include amazing experiences in entertainment such as concerts, dancing and story-telling particular to the each region we are in.  This gives us the flexiblity to choose the best places to have our group meals by planning accordingly and booking far in advance. The Meal Plan helps balance our itinerary by saving us amazing amount of time and money and is completely stress-free for you.

Eating out in local restaurants where you have the opportunity to eat with the locals and try AMAZING food is one of the most important things you can do on tour while in a new country.  Our guests love that we give this option so you can soak in all the best of each region.   Sometimes on certian days, you have free time to eat wherever and whenever you want. Other days, as a group we will have some amazing food in amazing places- eating with the locals for that true Authentic dish and ombeience.  We'll receive great service and you will get more value than if you were to go on your own.  Many of the places allow us to choose ANYTHING you want off their menu and some places will have a set menu with wonderful choice as well.

Many other tour companies do include all table d'hote dinners that comes along as a package they get with the hotel/or accommodation.  We do not include every single meal in your land package because we feel this lessens your opportunity to eat where you want, when you want, and with who you want to dine with. Sometimes you will want to go off on your own or gather a small group together and have a great night out with other members of our tour.
